Ganesh Chaturthi - Swiggy
Overview
During Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, Swiggy aimed to celebrate the festival through folklore-inspired storytelling. The goal was to present the essence of Lord Ganesha’s tales using warm visuals, cultural motifs, and festive UI design. My role focused on crafting in-app banners and themed modules that merged traditional elements with Swiggy’s clean, modern aesthetic. The visual language combined handcrafted patterns, saffron tones, and playful illustrations to capture the festive spirit while maintaining usability and coherence across the platform.
Results
The campaign saw a 35% boost in engagement, as users connected deeply with the nostalgic yet modern festive storytelling experience.

For Ganesh Chaturthi 2025, Swiggy introduced an interactive Virtual Aarti experience that allowed users to perform rituals digitally from showering flowers and offering sweets to lighting diyas and changing pandal themes. The goal was to enhance user engagement and evoke festive joy through micro-interactions. My role focused on crafting immersive UI visuals and designing an intuitive flow that balanced tradition with technology. Each element was created to feel emotionally rich, ensuring users experienced devotion and delight seamlessly through Swiggy’s platform.

The feature saw a 22% increase in session time, with users celebrating the innovation of a digital yet culturally grounded experience.
